MAI MAJDY
Mai Majdy, an Egyptian artist, born in Tripoli raised and lived in the UAE for over three decades, immersed in the vibrant cultural tapestry of the UAE, which defined her artistic journey as a testament to the rich interplay between tradition and innovation. A 2006 graduate with a bachelor's degree in Applied Arts from Cairo, Mai boasts more than 18 years of immersive experience in the realms of arts and creativity.
Mai 's formative years in the UAE have left an indelible mark on her artistic expression. She remains fiercely loyal to the society that nurtured her, intricately weaving the tapestry of her art with threads of people, heritage, and traditions.
As a visual artist, Mai constantly challenges the confines of conventional art, casting a luminous presence in the contemporary art scene. Over recent years, my focus has been particularly drawn to the rich tapestry of the UAE's cultural landscape.
